Diem has successfully delivered the new 900 m² headquarters for Informa Group Plc in Istanbul’s Levent district. Designed to reflect both the brand’s identity and its employees’ working habits, the space represents a forward-thinking approach to workplace design, balancing function, flexibility, and wellbeing.
A natural material palette carefully planned spatial circulation, and seamless integration of technology underpin the project. With its welcoming tone and thoughtful use of space, the office fosters motivation, collaboration, and focus throughout the workday.
Design Concept: Calm, Open, and Flexible
The design brief centred on creating a space that aligns with Informa’s corporate identity while enhancing the day-to-day experience of employees. The result is a work environment that combines visual warmth with spatial efficiency.
- Natural wood tones, minimalist floors, and curved architectural forms create spatial continuity.
- A calming colour scheme integrates white tones and Informa’s signature brand blue.
- Exposed ceilings add vertical space, while abundant natural light supports wellbeing.
Defined Zones with Distinct Purpose
The layout includes a range of functional zones, each supporting a different aspect of work while contributing to a cohesive whole.
- Reception & Welcome Area:
Marked by wooden arch detailing and flowing ceiling-floor alignment, offering a soft, natural first impression. - Phone Booths & Quiet Rooms:
Acoustically treated spaces provide privacy for calls, focused work, and personal moments of quiet. - Tech Bar & Social Hub:
A multifunctional space that allows employees to access AV and connectivity tools while serving as an informal gathering point. - Relaxation Corners:
Scattered soft seating areas allow for short breaks, casual conversations, or quiet recharging during the day. - Flexible Meeting Rooms:
Equipped with an acoustic sliding panel system and writable glass walls, two rooms can be merged into one for larger sessions or workshops.
