Integral Design-Build AG, delivered a distinctive office environment for the Bellevue Group in Zurich, combining biophilic design with functional excellence. Spread across 1,750 m² and four floors, the space reflects its lakeside location while integrating acoustic comfort, smart zoning, and selective reuse of materials.
About the Project
Bellevue Group’s new workspace was conceived as a calm, contemporary environment that brings the essence of Lake Zurich indoors. Located across four floors, the project supports 80 employees while offering elegant solutions for client hosting, internal collaboration, and individual focus.
Design elements such as wave-shaped LEDs, blue chain curtains, and organically shaped interiors reinforce the connection to nature and create an inviting yet professional atmosphere. The office also accommodates changing work modes - from private focus to large-scale presentations.
Scope of Work
The 5th floor serves as the reception and client-facing hub, offering panoramic views and a signature design statement. Key highlights include:
- Flexible Auditorium: Two high-tech meeting rooms can be merged into a 60-person auditorium for larger gatherings.
- Acoustic Performance: PET-based insulation, soft flooring, and decoupled raised floors ensure a quiet, comfortable setting.
- Vertical Connectivity: An oak staircase with glass panelling links three of the floors and encourages physical movement.
- Sustainable Reuse: High-quality solid wood furniture was refurbished and refinished, with pieces like sanded-down meeting tables receiving a lighter look.
