When Wizz Air's new office was completed in 2023, it was the result of a sustainable transformation that faithfully reflected the company's values. The collaboration presented the DVM design & build team with a unique and innovative challenge, a project they have been proud to remember ever since.
The primary objective of the transformation was to reuse existing fixtures, fittings and interior spaces to create a working environment that would serve the needs of the company and its employees in the long term, while minimising the ecological footprint. Along these principles, while maintaining the existing architectural, engineering and other disciplines, DVM created floor plans that model all possible team collaboration scenarios.
Client Vision
In terms of design, Wizz Air came with a strong vision, they wanted calm and bright spaces using a minimalist approach. The palette focused on white, light grey, light beige and natural wood, with subtle accents of the brand’s primary colours. The goal was to create a modern workspace where usability and comfort took precedence.
Sustainable Principles
Reuse was at the heart of the transformation. Rather than building from scratch, DVM maximised the use of recyclable materials, retained structural elements, and worked efficiently within the existing framework - delivering a cost-effective and environmentally mindful solution.
Functional Design
The office layout was rethought to accommodate a variety of collaboration styles, team structures, and workflow patterns. With open-plan flexibility and well-zoned spaces, the result is an adaptable environment tailored to both individual focus and team interaction.

Today, Wizz Air's new office stands as a benchmark for sustainable transformation. It seamlessly balances aesthetic appeal with functional excellence, supporting the growth and success of one of Europe’s most dynamic airlines.
