WTW’s newly designed office in Nærum reflects a thoughtful, people-first approach — where design supports well-being, collaboration, and identity.
With a strong emphasis on sustainability and sensory experience, the interior brings together natural elements, carefully selected materials, and colour palettes that respond to different moods and functions.
About the Project
Completed in 2025, the WTW office is located just outside of Copenhagen. The 1,200 m² workspace was designed for Willis Towers Watson to serve as a functional and inspiring office environment. As a consultancy operating at a global level, WTW sought a space that would reflect its values while supporting everyday wellbeing, flexibility, and collaboration.
A Human-Centred Interior
The concept places employees at the natural centre of the design. Through the seamless integration of aesthetics, function, and brand values, the space strengthens a sense of motivation, belonging, and comfort. Daylight, greenery, and tactile materials create a calm yet engaging atmosphere throughout.
Colour plays a key role in supporting function and emotion:
- Open work areas use terracotta, brown, and sand shades for grounding and tranquillity.
- Dynamic zones feature soft blues and greens for energy and freshness.
- Social spaces are enriched with deep reds and golden tones to encourage warmth and interaction.
- Focus areas are defined by calming green hues to aid concentration.
Design with Purpose
WTW’s core values are reflected not only in spatial layout but in every material choice. Reception and meeting zones foster trust and hospitality, while open collaboration areas invite dialogue and idea-sharing. Sustainability underpins the entire approach — from reusing existing features to selecting long-lasting, low-impact materials.
The result is a forward-thinking workplace where durability meets design integrity.
Inclusive and Responsible by Design
Accessibility and inclusion are woven into the spatial planning, with a range of room types and flexible setups to suit different tasks and work styles. Across the entire fit-out, craftsmanship and detail shine through — achieving a careful balance of function, identity, and respect for people and planet alike.
