Formed in 2008, SGI was initially a part of an international expansion program and the result of a partnership arrangement between Stephen George and Partners est. 1970 and K&D Architects est. 2008. Since then, SGI has become one of the leading Architectural and Interior Design practices in the Eastern European region, delivering firsts in different sectors and winning multiple awards. In 2018 SGI opened a new chapter in its development by becoming an autonomous operation while still retaining a strategic partnership with our colleagues in the UK.
Today the office in Sofia employs around 50 people. Our design team is highly versatile, providing an exceptional level of expertise in both design and delivery.
SGI’s portfolio includes unique, innovative, and inclusive solutions for office fit-outs for companies like VMware, Unicredit Bulbank, Booking.com and Chaos Group. In our projects for corporate workspace, we emphasise encapsulating the spirit of the company and using the design language to express it, but without compromising functionality. The team works to ensure that the end result offers an innovative, inspiring and rewarding environment.
